MINISTER YILMAZ TUNÇ: WE HAVE WORKED AND ARE WORKING DAY AND NIGHT TO HEAL THE WOUNDS CAUSED BY EARTHQUAKES

Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç stated that the state and the nation mobilized from the first moments of the earthquakes on February 6, which affected 11 provinces, and said, “We worked day and night to heal the wounds caused by the earthquakes.”

Minister Yılmaz Tunç shared a message on his social media account on the second anniversary of the February 6 earthquakes. He stated that “We feel in our hearts the unrelenting pain of the February 6 earthquakes, one of the biggest disasters of our country and the world, which affected 11 provinces.” Minister Tunç's message is as follows:  

“From the first moments of the disaster of the century, we mobilized as a state and a nation. The unity of the century, demonstrated by each of us with the sadness of the lives we lost, made us even stronger.

Under the leadership of our President Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and with the support and prayers of our beloved nation, we worked day and night to heal the wounds caused by the earthquakes.

We will continue to work with perseverance and determination to develop our cities and make them better than before.

I once again remember with mercy our citizens, who lost their lives in the earthquakes that shook us all deeply, and I wish condolences and patience to their families and our beloved nation.

May God protect our country and our nation from all disasters and may we never experience the same tragedies again.”
